SPIRITUALITY & ESSENTIAL OILS

Some of you may know now that I'm very into spirituality and will find all the ways to help me grow both spiritually and mentally. So of course I have researched different oils that I can use to help support me both spiritually and mentally. Here are my current go-to's and I hope this little collection continues growing as I learn more and continue indulging myself into spirituality and essential oils.
If one picture could summarize me as a person, I think this would be the one.

The Best Essential Oils For Spiritual Growth

FRANKINCENSE -

Frankincense is an essential oil that is beneficial for the nervous system. It has the ability to soothe and relax the mind while treating nervous tension.
Frankincense can sooth the Qi-energy. This is beneficial as stress can get out of control and cause problems in the human body, leading to irritability, restlessness, and insomnia. It works as a tonic, which can uplift and raise your spirits. Generally, it can aid in relieving sadness. Frankincense will smooth your flow of Qi-energy and generally calm the nerves and deepen your breath. The psychological and spiritual benefits of frankincense have been recognized for centuries. It’s believed that the oil can be linked on a fundamental level to the earth, so it can calm and stabilize the mind.
*I apply Frankincense over my heart and crown chakra before any readings that I do, whether it be for myself or a friend. I find that the spiritual link in Frankincense heightens my own.

CONSOLE -

Console is doTERRA's Comforting Blend that contains Frankincense, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, Labdanum, Amyris, Sandalwood, Rose, & Osmanthus essential oils.
Patchouli will harmonize the mind when overthinking strikes, due to its grounding earth element. It can also have an aphrodisiac effect and help people with sadness/ anxiousness. For patchouli’s energetic and psychological effects, it can provide warming and sweetening for people who have a deficiency of Qi-energy in the abdominal region. This make Patchouli a great grounding oil.
Ylang Ylang will balance the mind and calm the nervous system. It aids in reuniting our emotional and sensual natures together. This is important because without the support for heart and mind, they can become uprooted. If our emotions dry up, it can lead to isolation and depression. Ylang Ylang can help to provide sunshine by opening and centering us. It will allow us to unify internally and thus be able to outwardly be bold.
Rose is beneficial for resorting stagnant energy. There is also compassion surrounding Rose... It has the ability to heal wounds of an emotional nature. Rose oil can bring self-love, nurturing, and comfort, to help restore the mind and the center of our emotional well-being
*I apply Console to my pulse points before meditation and before every reading that I do. I also find myself reaching for this oil on a daily basis.

BALANCE -

Balance is doTERRA's Grounding Blend that contains Spruce, Ho Wood, Frankincense, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, and Osmanthus essential oils. These oils together are very earthy, therefore easily ground our emotions and promote tranquility and relaxation.
Spruce was used by Native Americans for health and spiritual reasons and is still used today to bring harmony to the mind and body.
Ho Wood, Blue Tansy, and Blue Chamomile can ease anxious feelings.
*I apply Balance to the bottoms of my feet daily for extra grounding support.

OILS FOR HEADACHES

Yesterday I had a migraine from literal hell. I don't think that I've ever experienced a migraine so painful before yesterday and I'm thankful that it's over.

It could have stemmed from a few things - not drinking enough water, not eating enough, not taking care of myself, not putting good food into my body, over-working myself, forgetting to take my LLV supplements, my hormones being all over the place, etc.

And I honestly DID end up taking an Ibuprofen because the oils were barely touching it and it was making me nervous... BUT these oils right here are my usual go-to's for minor headaches that usually work right away. Yesterday, these oils worked best at assisting and making the Ibuprofen eliminate the pain even quicker than if I had just taken it alone.

  • Copaiba - inhibits certain proteins and complexes involved in the inflammation response. In doing so, it can effectively modulate the acute (as opposed to chronic) inflammatory response.
  • LavenderAccording to researchers, aromatic and topical use of lavender oil affects the limbic system because the main constituents, linalool and linalyl acetate, are rapidly absorbed through the skin and are thought to cause central nervous system depression. For this reason, lavender oil can be used to treat headaches caused by anxiety disorders and related conditions.
  • Peppermint - plays a role in stimulating blood flow in the forehead when applied topically, which effectively alleviates a tension headache.

Then I have a little pre-made roller bottle of Deep Blue, Frankincense, Lavender, and Rosemary for headaches that usually does the trick as well. This blend is what I reach for at the first sign of any headache, and then I will add additional oils if needed.

I pulled out back up for my back up yesterday and it still didn't do the trick alone.
